邓冠铁，男，1959年出生，湖南省永兴人，北京师范大学数学科学学院教授。
人物经历
邓冠铁1982年在武汉大学数学系获得学士，1985年获得硕士学位，1988年在法国居里夫人大学获得博士学位。1988年至1990年在武汉大学博士后流动站进行研究工作。出站后，1990年至1996年在华中科技大学任教，1996年起在北京师范大学数学系任教。1990年任副教授，1994年6月破格晋升为教授。2002年至2009年担任北京师范大学数学科学学院分析教研室主任。曾任“Frontiers of Mathematics in China”杂志编委。
主讲课程
曾任过《复变函数》《分形几何》《多复几何》《多复变函数》及《泛函分析》等十几门不同的数学课程的教学工作。
