沈艳，女，美国南加州大学研究生毕业，获得经济学博士学位。现任北京大学国家发展研究院（前身北京大学中国经济研究中心）教授，北京大学数字金融研究中心副主任。沈艳教授是Econometric Society会员和American Economic Association会员。她还担任教育部北京大学人力资本与国家政策研究中心副主任，中国数量经济学会常任理事。曾获北京大学优秀班主任奖励。沈艳教授还担任Journal of Econometrics，China Economic Review，Economic Development and Cultural Change等刊物的匿名审稿人。
