2021年2月，演员克里斯托弗·普卢默（Christopher Plummer）去世，他曾出演的电影《音乐之声》打破了由《乱世佳人》保持的影史最高票房纪录，在全世界范围内共29个国家和地区刷新了票房纪录，还获得总共十项奥斯卡金像奖提名。此外，该电影中的插曲《孤独的牧羊人》至今仍传唱各地。
