普皮·阿瓦蒂
普皮·阿瓦蒂（Pupi Avati）是一位意大利导演，出生于1938年11月3日，出生地为博洛尼亚。他年轻时曾就读兽医学校，但后来退学并加入乐团担任吹奏架子鼓黑管手，并在冷冻食品工厂工作。十年后，他与兄弟好友合资成立电影制片公司，开始制作并执导电影。1975年，他为皮埃尔•保罗•帕索里尼编写了《索多玛120天》。在1980年制作完惊悚片《Macabro》后，他与其兄弟另组公司，在整个80年代都致力于制作通俗喜剧，接连拍摄一连串受欢迎的娱乐片。1991年，他的电影《少男少女的故事》打开了美国市场。同年，他执导的首部英语电影《Bix》一部描述享年仅28岁的爵士歌手Bix Beiderbecke一生浮沉的传记电影，也获得了大众的喜爱。然而，1994年再次执导的第二部英语电影《童年的朋友》却遭受了严重的挫败。
