剧情介绍
冬天一场学校交通车的意外事故，使得Sam Dent小镇上的父母们失去了他们的孩子，正在悲伤的时刻，一位纽约的律师Stephens来到了小镇，开始说服父母们联合起来打一场官司，控告那看不见的罪魁祸首。他的目的是钱以外的东西，但他很快地就发现这些失子的父母跟他一样地不单纯……在访查的过程中，平静小镇之下一些不为人知的一面逐渐显露出来，而这些真相将会使小镇分崩离析。人们要如何从这场伤痛之中重新站起来，重新掌握未来的春天呢？

故事来源
影片讲述加拿大一个小镇的一段悲伤经历。有一天女司机德里斯科尔开的汽车掉入冰湖，车上14个学生死亡。本镇律师斯蒂芬斯联合死亡学生的家长开始了对汽车公司的漫长官司。加拿大著名导演艾顿·伊戈扬编导的一部悲剧片，改编自拉塞尔班克斯同名小说。影片着重心理刻画，表演精湛。
