第42届格莱美奖（42nd Annual Grammy Awards）是由美国国家录音与科学学会主办的音乐奖项。
该届格莱美奖共设置98个奖项。美国乐队山塔那合唱团凭借专辑《Supernatural》获得年度专辑奖，凭借歌曲《Smooth》获得年度制作奖和年度歌曲奖，美国女歌手克里斯蒂娜·阿奎莱拉获得年度新人奖。
2000年2月23日，颁奖典礼在美国洛杉矶斯台普斯中心举行，罗茜·欧唐内担任主持人。哥伦比亚广播公司、北京音乐广播负责典礼转播。
