乐曲背景
“看看世界巡回演唱会”进入欧洲巡演，行经米兰Teatro Linear Ciak演出时，Karen的好人缘邀请到MIKA担任嘉宾，中、西巨星的梦幻结合，全场惊呼，两人合唱《Stardust》，全场疯狂high翻，MIKA更形容Karen是一位不可思议的女神！两人今年初于一场活动中相识，同样都有英国背景的他们，就像许久不见的老友般相谈甚欢，Karen热情邀请MIKA观赏伦敦站演唱会，不巧时间对不上，MIKA转而自愿担任莫文蔚米兰站的演出嘉宾。
一见如故的两人都不愿意只合作这么一次，因此决定重新诠释MIKA的经典歌曲《Stardust》，制作这首歌时，工作满档的两人是分开录音，但都会透过电话或讯息交换彼此的感觉与想法，喜爱中文的MIKA提议何不在歌曲中添加一句中文歌词！一向对东西文化交汇相当有见解的Karen便立刻联想到自己的专辑《不散，不见》与《Stardust》歌词“When will I see you again?”意境不谋而合，因此神来一笔的巧思，决定将其中一句歌词改成“我们不散不见”。由于MIKA相当看重这次合作，也立即决定将这首歌重新混音制作。两人均表达因为这次合作，而感受到彼此像认识很久的朋友般相谈甚欢，一拍即合，默契十足！
值得一提的是，要完成《Stardust》这首歌的MV也是相当不容易，两人合体表演只有在演唱会上短短一首歌的时间，不仅时间紧迫，场地本身的限制也无法自在拍摄，因此导演李伯尔尼特别出动了10台摄影机，制作团队全员严正以对这仅只一次的拍摄机会，完美捕捉全方位的精彩瞬间！这也是Karen今年首支全新单曲，能和MIKA合作并于全球发行， Karen表示，“我们像是已经认识很久的朋友一样，什么都能聊，这次的合作实在是太棒、太荣幸了！”
